My calling to serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities began long before I fully understood what that calling meant.
At nine years old, I was surrounded by caregivers. My grandparents, aunts, and mother were all host home providers. Our home was more than a residence. It was a place grounded in compassion, patience, advocacy, and responsibility. I observed closely and learned quietly.
Even as a child, I had a natural ability to connect with individuals with IDD. I did not see limitations. I saw people. I saw personalities, intelligence, humor, emotions, and strength. I saw people who deserved to be respected, understood, and supported with dignity.
During high school, I volunteered in special education classes. It was simply where I felt purposeful. Supporting students with special needs gave me a deep sense of fulfillment.
Caring for and supporting individuals with IDD is responsibility that comes with great honor. These are people with real needs, meaningful goals, valid frustrations, and genuine dreams. They deserve advocacy. They deserve structure. They deserve someone who truly sees them and stands beside them with consistency and care.
I have been blessed to grow up alongside these remarkable individuals. Their authenticity, resilience, and spirit have profoundly influenced who I am as a man and as a provider.
Triple C Adult Services was built on that lifelong foundation. This is not simply a business. It is a commitment rooted in integrity, professionalism, and compassion.
